I began my career in 1957 in the City of London as a Banker and spent 24 years working in the fields of domestic, trust and international banking. I worked in France, Portugal, Canada and the United States. I left banking in 1981 as a Vice President of an American Bank working in the City of London.

I opened an Investment Brokerage business operating in the United Kingdom but, having had extensive travel experience, decided to work overseas. I worked from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and worked extensively throughout the Middle East. I founded my own company in 1989 and built a substantial business over the next years.

I am fully versed in all areas of financial planning. I have specialised in investment and the use of specialist investment vehicles which are utilised as a medium for monthly and single premium investments. These vehicles are used to mitigate potential tax liabilities and assist with retirement and inheritance tax planning for expatriates.

I am a Freeman of the City of London, an erstwhile Assistant to the Court of a City Livery Company which has been in existence for over 650 years. I was a member of their Finance Committee and was responsible for their various investment portfolios. I am also a member of a second City Livery.
